Moraine Park – Rocky Mountain National Park

Glacier-Carved Valley

Moraine Park is a large glacier-carved valley along Bear Lake Road.

Reclaimed From Humans

Just a few cabins are all that remain from a large commercial establishment that used to inhabit Moraine Park.  At one time there were ranches, lodges, and even a golf course.  The park has since been restored to a natural meadow and is a great place to view wildlife such as elk, deer and coyotes.

Even Cloudy Days are Beautiful

Clouds add to the dramatic view in Moraine Park.
